The Record’s 22nd Annual Family Day at the Park will be held Saturday, September 21, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Weber Point in Stockton. The event is free to the public. The Record’s signature event, Family Day at the Park provides a full day of fun and educational activities for the entire community.
The First Tee of San Joaquin will begin its Fall Tour for boys and girls ages 5-17 on September 7th. Children will learn sportsmanship, respect and other core values while learning the fundamentals of golf. The nine-week sessions are held every Saturday morning and equipment will be provided. The cost is $60 and includes a logo golf cap.

This year, Women's Center-Youth & Family Services (WCYFS) Promising Pathways program will host its second annual youth event TAY End Game! (formerly known as “A Path to Success”) on Thursday, September 5th, 2019 at the Teen Impact Center from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm. This event is free and open to the public. Youth are encouraged to attend. Come enjoy a day of fun, food, activities and more! This event will feature a live music performance by local jazz, rock and soul band Seven23. We will have resources and opportunities in Education, Employment, Housing, Personal Effectiveness & Well-being, and Community Involvement & Volunteering. Youth who participate in all the activities can ENTER TO WIN AMAZING RAFFLE PRIZES! The end game for youth who are transitioning to adulthood is to Learn, Grow and Thrive.

Past Champions return to the track where they won championships and set fast track times this weekend at the Annual Night of Champions Reunion on Saturday, August 3rd at the Stockton 99 Speedway. This year's event will include some of the greats driving once again at the historic oval, including but not limited to: Kenny Boyd, Jacob Gomes, Steve Johnson, Belletto Family, and more! The evening features the Stockton Late Models Night of Champions 100, Bombers, B4 Cylinders and Mini Cups, on a night which features plenty of racing and a HUGE fireworks show!
