CB Merchant Services - formerly known as the Credit Bureau of Stockton - is celebrating their 100th Anniversary Wednesday, June 14, 2017 from 4:30 to 6:30pm.  CB Merchant Services is located at 217 North San Joaquin Street, Stockton. In 1917, a group of innovative Stockton merchants purchased Mayor E.V. Burke’s credit bureau for $3,000. Over the years, CB Merchant Services (CBMS) has evolved to include collection, eviction and billing services, and is proud to continue operation as a merchant owned, mutual benefit, not for profit organization.

 St. Joseph's Medical Center today announced that it is one of the first hospitals in California to offer the world's smallest pacemaker for patients with bradycardia. The Micra® Transcatheter Pacing System (TPS) is a new type of heart device, approved for Medicare reimbursement, that provides patients with the most advanced pacing technology at one-tenth the size of a traditional pacemaker.

For months, many Stockton residents driving the Miracle Mile have seen the fencing around a new coffee drive-through.  They've asked, "When is the Dutch Bros Coffee going to open?"  "Soon" was the common answer but that lasted for months.  The CaravanNews.com has learned today that Stockton Dutch Bros Coffee will start hiring in mid-May and then open at the end of May; but most likely in early June.  Stay connected to the Caravan to be one of the first to know the exact date and get ready for FREE coffee!  That's what Dutch Bros. often does on the first day of opening new locations.

Jennifer has led the organization as Interim CEO since October 3, 2016, succeeding Joelle Gomez, who had stepped down to assume the role of CEO at Children’s Home of Stockton. Jones will transition to the permanent role immediately.

Maker of the World’s Smallest Heart Pump Brings Mobile Learning Lab to St. Joseph’s Medical Center

St. Joseph’s Medical Center located in Stockton will participate in the Abiomed Mobile Learning Lab program on Dec. 14, 2016 at 11 a.m. The Mobile Learning Lab is a highly interactive, facilitated learning experience that is brought directly to the hospital with the goal of training hospital staff on the Impella® heart pump, one of the newest, minimally invasive heart support and recovery technologies. The Impella is manufactured by Abiomed, Inc.
